SAVE THE DATE - SPRING MEETING APRIL 7, 2018

Save the date! This year's Spring Program and Luncheon will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Fellowship Hall of the Wapping Community Church, South Windsor. Our speaker will be Dr. Cornelia Dayton from the History Department of the University of Connecticut, whose talk will be "Madness, Mayhem, and Murder in Early Windsor." This talk will explore how residents of Windsor reacted and coped when extreme depression, psychosis, or milder mental afflictions caused fellow townspeople or visiting strangers to behave oddly or violently. She will highlight both well-known and “hidden” episodes from the early 1700s to the 1840s. www.ancientwindsor.org
