Our Annual Fall Meeting & Program is coming up Saturday, September 25 at 1:30 pm Eastern Time via Zoom. We will welcome John E. Putnam who will speak on “The Connecticut River Valley: Colonial New England’s Forgotten Frontier.” John also plans to provide the audience with suggestions on breaking brick walls and researching this area more fully to give your ancestors’ stories more context and meaning. Our Booth at NERGC 2021 is open today through 4:30 to answer any question about membership or basic questions about the purpose and benefits of membership in DFAW. Come visit us at the Exhibit Hall. if you are interested in talking virtually with us go to NERGC.org and register for the conference FREE to visit the Exhibit Hall. IMPORTANT: CHANGE TO SPRING PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Our Spring Program speaker, Chris Pagliuco, has a family activity that he needs to attend on Saturday afternoon. Accordingly, his presentation will begin at 10:00 a.m. rather than 10:30. Also, the nearby Simsbury Genealogical & Historical Research Library will be open on Saturday; Spring Program attendees will have the opportunity to visit it in the afternoon.

ALL NERGC FEATURED SPEAKER WORKSHOPS ARE NOW SOLD OUT!
All of the NERGC 2019 Featured Speaker Workshops (T-133 Third Party Tools with Blaine Bettinger; F-154 Crafting Searches with Cyndi Ingle; and S-154 Evidence & Conflict with Thomas Jones) are now SOLD OUT and are closed to additional registrations. Additional workshops are getting close to full.
To avoid disappointment or frustration at the conference, don't wait until the last day of "Early Bird" (February 28) to register for remaining optional Workshops and meals. Due to room capacities, optional Workshops (additional cost above the Conference registration fee) have participation limits. Waiting may result in your Workshop of choice not being available.

Two of the NERGC Featured Speaker workshops are now full
and closed to additional registrations. Even the waitlists are full!
Three other workshops are almost full as well. To avoid disappointment
when trying to register for remaining NERGC workshops and meals, don't put off
registering for the conference until just prior to the February 28 Early Bird
Deadline.
